"Thousand of Mazel Tovs!!!
Beautiful news that I've ever heard...It is very
important for all deaf children to get such
excellent education in their early years. May
they become leaders of our future Deaf
Community! Cheers, Simon Carmel"

HALLELUJAH!! BIG KUDOS TO THE CHARTER SCHOOL
FOR THE DEAF BOARD!!
They have been working very hard for
several years and ....they succeeded!! It makes my
heart swell with pride for them.
Now...you all presidents of organizations and/or your
delegates...need to show our support. LVCSD needs us
to help them move along until the school opens in the
last of August and then continue our support afterwards.

are still as strong as I could ever imagine.
Dont ever give up!! I am grateful for my three Deaf

Congratulations!
As a former
teacher of the deaf, I was thrilled to read in the Las Vegas
Sun about the opening of the Las Vegas Charter School for
the Deaf. Yea! Way to Go! Thank Goodness! Please know my
best wishes will be with each and every child, teacher and
staff member associated with your charter school. I am
thrilled.

Great News for LVCSD!
The Clark
County School District has approved our charter application and
we now are moving forward with the opening of our school and
obtaining a full charter. Currently we are undergoing
negotiations for a school site. Once we have this wrapped up we
will begin the process of meeting all the requirements of the
ADA, county and city and obtain all of our permits. If things go
well, we expect to open the school for business after the first
of the year . We will begin enrolling students (K-3) for the
fall 2008 term! Keep your eye on our website for more news! |
